Sc. 2097 on a 5"x7" Dragon Card, printed portrait of the Pittsburgh Pirates star, quotation, and Pittsburgh GMF (General Mail Facility) green double-ring hand cancel. Although he played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the stamp was issued in his hometown in Puerto Rico. We flew the stamp to Pittsburgh for this unofficial-city cancel. Great for a baseball-, sports- or black history-on-stamps collection!
