Sc. 4789 Johnny Cash on a 5"x7" Dragon Card showing a publicity portrait of the singer and the 45 RPM single of "Ring of Fire," the biggest hit of his career. The Cash stamp and Sc. 2773 The Carter Family are both tied by the B&W pictorial postmark. Cash toured as the opening act for the Carter Family, and married June Carter (who co-wrote "Ring of Fire"). Great for a music-on-stamps collection!
