Sc. 5976 Betty White on a 5"x7" Dragon Card with a picture of White in 1954 with a television camera on the set of "The Betty White Show." There is a small printed photo of tap dancer/singer Arthur Duncan, a regular on her show. The text tells the story: Pressured by Southern TV stations to dismiss Duncan, she refused. Her show was canceled at the end of the year. The Pictorial Postmark ties the new stamp and Sc. 3187f School Desegregation Supreme Court ruling — handed down the same year as this incident. Great for a television-, entertainment or black history-on-stamps collection!
