  • The Celebrate the Century sets for the 1900s and 1910s, 1920s and 1930s were issued during 1998. Each set has its own page on this website, which you can reach by clicking on the decades listed here. The subjects include Teddy Bears, Crayola Crayons, Immigration, World Series, George Washington Carver, World War I, Scouting, Theodore Roosevelt (with the Remember the Maine stamp, and Jim Thorpe (1900s/1910s); Babe Ruth, Electric Trains, Jazz (Bix Beiderbecke), and Radio (1920s); and Empire State Building, Streamlined Design and Monopoly (1930s).
